"Vanquish"
The elegant, muscular body of the Aston Martin Vanquish was Tim's inspiration
for this gorgeous stainless steel piece.
"Aston Martin is a name that needs little introduction in the automobile world," says
Tim Cotterill, "an elgant, powerful presence with sleek, well-proportioned lines and a
profile that stirs one's soul. Bold British design at its best, the car looks like a missile.
My love for exotic machines is what inspired me to create a tribute to the
Aston Martin "Vanquish".

"High Tide"
The tide is in. It's a sunny day and the laundry is billowing in the warm breeze.
Many Tenakee folk hang their laundry under the house between pilings. That way,
if the occasional sprinkle should happen in this rain forest, the laundry is still drying.
This person's laundry line is positioned just above the high tide line. On this perfect day in Tenakee there are no worries about rain.

"9:00 a.m. Service, Kodiak"
“I like sketching churches, especially Russian churches with their onion domes.
The Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church in Kodiak is no exception. Often a painting
will be fine with just the church, but it's more fun to add some of the congregation.
This small group added sharp contrast and focal point with their black clothes against all
the color. As per Russian custom, ladies attending church wear a scarf covering their head and gentlemen remove their hats.”
